I feel like I have tried so many different products: detangler spray, leave-in conditioners, etc... and I don't really get a result as I would expect. At first, it looks wonderful but within a few hours it's back to square one.
I have to tell you that I don't have much experience with curly hair because my hair was just thick and wavy growing up. She inherited her fathers beautiful curls. While I LOVE them, I just don't know what to do to get them soft, hold the curls, and not get mangled into a big knotty mess from time to time.
I have found that applying coconut oil to her hair an hour before bath time makes her hair softer and easier to work with. I don't do it often though.
Most days I just resort to pulling her hair back into whatever ponytail I can manage and calling it a day. While that's cute too, I'd love to be able to have other options. When her hair first dries it looks nice but alittle while after, it starts to frizz and go all over the place.
I'm wondering if any of my lovely readers have any suggestions for me who have actually worked with curly haired cuties. Are there any natural type products that you have used and swear by? I would prefer as natural as possible.
I would really appreciate your response, tips, advice, whatever you've got!!
