*Disclaimer: I received my In a Pikle cover and starter kit for free in exchange for my honest review. I was not persuaded to make it positive in any way and I only recommend products that I feel my readers would like*
The big question... WHAT is In A Pikle?! Well, let me tell you, it's this cute little organizer that has pockets that you can add inside to hold anything you would need for on-the-go or emergency kits. It helps you to stay organized and easily see everything when you are quickly flipping through it. You can use these to make first aid kits, baby paks, sewing kit supplies, office supplies, and more!! They are fashionable and just fun. You can purchase wristlets/straps to carry them around with, too.
Mine came with the "Complete Refill Pack", which included alot of your basics. Some of the items that were in this kit were: Band-aids, hand sanitizer, scissors, tweezers, a mirror with floss, tissues, and more!
The "In A Pikle" came nicely wrapped in tissue paper in a box just big enough to hold all of the items, labeled with the company logo. I am a huge fan of minimal packing and when companies don't use an unneccessary amount of materials. Below you will see the pictures I took of the packaging, all of the items included, and all of it put together. It was super easy to install the pockets. All I had to do is snap them in. Then I placed the items in however I wanted. It did come with a little guide that gave suggestions on how to pack your items in most efficiently. When you are done, you zip the pockets closed and put the strap through the loop. it closes with a little magnetic feature and I think it's so neat.
I love that I can change it around to suit my needs and I can add more pockets for items I'd like to put in my "In A Pikle" cover. I've added gum, ibuprofen, cough drops, and a few other things that I might need on a day-to-day basis.
It sounds like this thing would be HUGE once everything is in it, but it's not! It kind of rolls and velcros shut. It's not too bulky that I can't carry it along with me. I usually leave mine in the car, the diaper bag, or take it on walks with my daughter and I. When I'm "In A Pikle", I just whip it out and use my goodies. It's saved us a few times and I'm so happy that I've had the opportunity to try one out.
On the site, you can view all the different packs available. If you want to check them out, go HERE. There are so many things you can do to get creative and it's convenient. While you are there be sure to check out the different pikle's and options that you have and see what would work best for you!
I was given the opportunity to choose which Pikle I wanted. I chose the Sweet Pikle in Bohemian Bands. It's beautiful in the picture but even prettier in person!
Here are the product details from the site for the one I received:
Sweet is what it is! This darling "In A Pikle" bag has a handy ring closure. It can easily be opened single handedly. The sturdy strap inserts into the large ring and folds over itself. It is secured in place with hook and loop. Made of cotton with a clear coating that wipes off easily. Choose from Mint Stripe, Multi Color Stripe with Aqua flap, Chevron with Coral flap, Purple Floral or Black and White Floral with Green flap.
I had a very hard time choosing which design and print to go with because I found that I was attracted to many different ones. However, I am happy with my choice and I love it.
As a mother, my mind is at ease when I have this on me or in the car because I have personalized it with items I'd need for my toddler and all the basic first aid necessities. They are always available when I need them and I feel relieved knowing "In A Pikle" is on my side!
