We were given the opportunity to test this product free of charge for our 100% honest opinion and review.
After going to the beach recently (Rehoboth & Cape Henlopen, DE specifically), we had the common annoyance of sand all over our legs, feet, arms, and hands. We used Sand Gone to wipe the sand off and to my surprise it practically fell right off with gentle swipes using the applicator pad that was included in the container. It worked wonderfully and even has a nice light clean scent to it. It reminds me of coconut. I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but it was really easy to use and took very little effort.
The only downside I ran into was that the product left a white powdery look in some areas it was applied to. In those areas it was hard to really rub it in, but most areas it wasn't a problem. I suppose I'd rather have that than gritty yucky sand all over me ;).
Sand Gone is made with vegetable and plant starches. They've also added a coconut fragrance to it. It is produced in the USA (Satellite Beach, FL). I love finding products that are made here in the U.S.A!
Sand Gone can be purchased at www.sandgone.com and it comes in an 8 oz. container (including the applicator). It costs $14.95 plus shipping and handling.
