I found this recipe online through facebook and I had to try it right away!! What was awesome about it, was that I already had all of the ingredients that I needed. It's totally nice to have a different way to use them and enjoy them!!
You feel like you are getting away with something bad, they are sooooo good!
I've taken several pictures to share with you and added them below in the order that I mixed it all up. That's it, you basically take all of the ingredients and just mix it up, form them into balls, and place them on a plate in the fridge. If they make it that far ;)
Here is the recipe I've copied from TipHero.com!
BANANA OAT ENERGY BITES
You’ll Need
– 2 ripe bananas
– 2 cups rolled oats
– ¼ cup almond butter (or peanut butter, or your favorite nut butter)
– ¼ cup honey
– 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
– ½ teaspoon cinnamon
How To
It's so easy to do and a perfect snack for you, your friends, or your little loves.
I'm not sure if they REALLY gave my daughter energy or if it was in her head because of the name of this lovely treat, but after snacking on two of them I found her running all around the down stairs. She was jumping off of chairs, stools, cushions (whatever she could find). As she was doing this she would run after impact and tell me to look at all of her energy. She would skip, hop, and run back and forth. I was laughing so hard.
This is a snack I can feel good about because it's completely healthy. It's sweet and yummy, too!!
Let me know if you try it and what you think! It's really worth making! It took me about 10 minutes to do.
I bet it would even be delicious if you added raisins or craisins in there too!
It made about 20 balls for us using a cookie scoop that I think is about 1 T.

Would you make this? Would you do anything differently? Have you tried it before?
